Cross-laminated timber (CLT) is filling the Spokane skyline as the Catalyst building nears completion. Join us on the South Landing jobsite on October 21 for a topping out ceremony as we celebrate another milestone in delivering one of the world’s largest zero-carbon and zero-energy buildings.

Topping out is a time-honored tradition that celebrates the placement of the final structural beam. The ceremony honors and give thanks to nature for supplying the materials needed during construction

South Landing shows that there is no limit to what’s possible when the right partners come together to redefine our future. Please join McKinstry, Avista, Katerra and Eastern Washington University for this major construction milestone.

A building and jobsite tour will follow the ceremony. Proper jobsite attire is required (flat-sole, closed-toe shoes and long pants).

A public reception will be held at the SIERR building directly following the topping out ceremony from 3:30 to 5:00.
